Who’s dating who? David Cook has caught Kimberly Caldwell and it seems they are in the early stages of dating.

In an excerpt: The newly crowned “Idol” winner said Tuesday on “Live With Regis and Kelly” that he recently had a dinner date with former “Idol” contestant Kimberly Caldwell.

Cook, 25, said he met Caldwell through the show. When asked if he had a good time, Cook replied: “I did. We’ll probably hang out again. So we’ll see.”

David now ranks number 1 in iTunes, has six singles in the Top 50 Billboard Magazine’s hot 100 list.

Aside from that, his version of Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby is frequently played over the radio.

David Cook was phenomenal in this song. He was a lot different this time around and kept the sensuality of the song instead of drastically changing it into his own. Nonetheless, it was beautifully done.

David Cook sung Innocent by Our Lady Peace. It wasn’t as memorable as Billie Jean but he looked good on stage.

What can we say? David Cook rocked this song. This time, it was his original version. He sang Little Sparrow by Dolly Parton and Paula said it was the first time she heard a guy sing the song. Simon thought that you’re good if you could make a song about sparrows sound good. CelebrityCatch is a big fan of David and nothing is going to change that.

David Cook was brilliant during his performance in the American Idol Top 10 when he sang Chris Cornell’s version of Billie Jean.

Even if the song arrangement was credited by Ryan Seacrest during the introduction, Chris Cornell’s fan was not happy with the usage of his version. It was reported that his fans were sending emails to his website and very protective of Chris.

David Cook was born on December 20, 1982 and is a resident of Tulsa, OK. He was born with a massive skull and it was really funny as he looked like an alien. He got his first guitar at the age of 2 and said music was readily available to him.

ChicagoTribune has their own prediction of who is going to win American Idol. I do not agree that Ramiele Malubay doesn’t stand a chance and Kristy Lee Cook has a “maybe” chance. I do agree that David Archuleta and Brooke White can win American Idol.
