Carrie Underwood innocent charm and pure, pretty voice ended up winning her not only a place among the 12 finalists, but the title of 2005's American Idol.

Carrie was predicted to win over Bo Bice and the other candidates. And while on the show, Underwood gained a loyal fan base known as "Carrie's Care Bears".

Her debut single, "Inside Your Heaven", was released on summer of 2005 while having American Idol tour.

Debut Album

She began recording her debut album in Nashville called "Some Hearts" selling over 300,000 copies in its first week and eventually going triple platinum.

Her single, "Jesus, Take the Wheel," was also a big success, topping Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for six weeks.

"Don't Forget To Remember Me," the second of Underwood's singles peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart, as well as #49 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Before He Cheats" - charted for 20 weeks on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart before being confirmed as a single.
"Don't Forget To Remember Me" - spent one week at number one on the Radio & Records chart, and peaked at number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
"Some Hearts" - was an official single, but was only released to Pop and AC radio.

"Jesus, Take The Wheel" - spent six weeks at number one on the U.S. Country chart.
