Acting runs in Emily's family. Her dad, Eugene, is an actor, and her big brother, Haley Joel, is a pretty famous actor, too. But right now, he's a college student out East, Emily reports.

Did Emily want to follow in her big brother's footsteps? "Not really," she says. "Haley was acting when I was really little, and I think I must have been 4 or 5 when I decided what he was doing looked like more fun than what I was doing, which was sitting home. I thought, 'Why don't I try it?'

"My dad was an actor forever, and still is," says Emily, so he helped her get started. Emily landed an FTD florist commercial when she was 5 and has been working ever since. When she was 8 years old, she auditioned for the part of Gerti Giggles and spent the next two years playing the part in "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams" and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over."

With all of Emily's work projects we wondered if she had time to cook up any special Thanksgiving plans. "We'll probably go back East to see my family and have Thanksgiving with my aunt and my brother."
