Kate Bosworth is having fun playing a math whiz since math was her worst subject and the movie 21 gives her the pleasure of being good at it.

In an excerpt of the story:

“To be quite honest, math is my worst subject and so I had a lot of fun playing a math genius,” Kate Bosworth said of portraying a college whiz who rocks Las Vegas in the reality-inspired “21.”

“But I just liked being a part of an ensemble cast,” she added, smiling at co-star Kevin Spacey.

Spacey plays the fictionalized Massachusetts Institute of Technology mentor to a group of math students who make blackjack card-counting a profitable venture. Bosworth, 25, is a player who entices Jim Sturgess (“Across the Universe”) to join the group.
