I felt uncomfortable watching Jason Castro singing "Memories". He looked trying way too hard to put uniqueness on the song.

Randy: said it was vocally like a trainwreck.
Paula: said that so many people are used to hearing the song sung by a female power singer but she likes that he sang it and showed his uniqueness.
Simon: said it felt like a very long two minutes where Jason looked like someone who was being forced to sing this song.
