Girls have to grow up. Hilary Duff announced during her radio interview with the freak show that she is going to do a photoshoot with Maxim.

Given that Hilary is expecting her photoshoot with the adult market magazine to be an old fashioned pin-up girl means they are testing the waters and idea that soon Hilary would have to shift to a mature audience.

Hilary will not stay young forever and sometime in the future she will have to be in an older market demography. Maxim is taking steps to ensure that they have a good business relationship with Hilary when that time comes. Also, Hilary Duff would benefit with the magazine's popularity among the older group.

When will we see this shift happening? It depends on how her Maxim photoshoot is received by the people.
