Grey’s Anatomy, along with Isaiah Washington, Shonda Rhimes and Chandra Wilson Bagged NAACP Awards
Judging by the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards which aired on Fox last Friday, it appeared that Grey’s Anatomy was again down the red carpet.

Not that the Image Awards is a popularity contest, but it served as a venue to give credit to those individuals in the arts who have promoted diversity in television, recording, literature.
Given the numerous nominations to ABC’s hit show, it is just but amazing that a popular show is something worth awarding.
Nominated for that night were:
Isaiah Washington - Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series
James Picken, Jr - Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
Chandra Wilson - Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
Shonda Rhimes - Outstanding Writing in a Dramatic Series - It's the End of the World"
The show itself was nominated as Outstanding Drama Series.
Isaiah Washington, Shonda Rhimes and Chandra Wilson bagged the awards.
The winning though of Isaiah Washington was questioned, given his recent homophobic remarks which he has recanted.
Shonda Rhimes was undoubtedly deserving for her writing of “It's the End of the World". And who could resist giving credit to Chandra Wilson, who portrays the private Miranda Bailey? Surely, both are well deserved.
To top it all, hats off to Grey’s for winning the Outstanding Drama Series.
