David Cook was born on December 20, 1982 and is a resident of Tulsa, OK. He was born with a massive skull and it was really funny as he looked like an alien. He got his first guitar at the age of 2 and said music was readily available to him.

CelebrityCatch.tv: I didn't hear he was singing Billy Jean prior to his performance. When he started I was stopped that I recognized the lyrics to be Billy Jean. I was like -- Crap, is he singing Billy Jean? He is damn good.

Randy: He said to check it out. He thought he was the most original, the most gutsy to have sang the song. He thought he could have win the entire American Idol.
