Darren Star, the famous creator of Sex and the City is in New York once again in a promising dramedy featuring four female executives who became friends back in college until today enduring and helping each other out both in professional and personal matters.
Cashmere Mafia promises to be an explosive new show with Break-Up Peyton Reed as the director while Kevin Wade from Maid in Manhattan writing the pilot.
Kevin Wade, Star, Gail Katz and Suzie Fitzgerald are the producers of this movie

The four characters of the show are Bonnie Sommerville from Kitchen Confidential, Lucy Liu from Ugly Betty, Miranda Otto from War of the Worlds and Frances O’Connor from The Importance of Being Earnest
Bonnie Sommerville – will play Caitlin Dowd as a senior VP for a cosmetic giant.
Miranda Otto – will play Juliet Draper as the COO of a hotel chain.
Lucy Liu – will play Dylan Mason as one of the quartet.
Frances O’Connor – will play Zoe Burden as a top investment banker struggling to balance her roles as mother, wife and Wall Street whiz.
